Drop off Procedures:
Morning carline begins at 8:40 a.m. and will take place in two locations:
(See map above)
Early Childhood Gate (off Sandy Ridge) for campers entering Pre-K and Kindergarten (Campers assigned to Groups 1 - 4) Pre-School campers must be signed in; staff will assist you with this at your vehicle.
The Lower School Gate (off Summit Grove) for Campers entering 1st grade and higher (Campers assigned to Groups 5 - 17, Teen Camp and Sports Camp)
Siblings may be dropped off with the youngest campers.
Staff members will direct traffic to ensure the safety of our campers, please follow their directions. We ask that you always remain in your vehicles. Staff will greet you in the car and assist your camper.
Please ensure all their possessions for the day are contained inside the vehicle, and NOT in the trunk. This is important to ensure that carline drop off runs efficiently. Campers will be escorted from their vehicle and to their group by a staff member.
Carline will end and the gates will be closed and locked at 9:05am. If you arrive after the gates have been locked you must park and escort your camper into the main front office.
All Campers must use a carline for drop off.
The exception to this rule is Opening Day for your camper - If a parent or guardian would like to escort please park in the main parking lot and you may walk them on campus. Gates will close promptly at 9:00a.m. and all parents and guardians will be asked to leave camp.
Late Camper Arrival:
Please make every effort to have your campers arrive by 9:00 a.m. It is very disruptive to have campers arrive late.
It is important for each camper to be part of the daily opening circle with their camp group.
If your camper must arrive after the carline gates have closed, they will need to be escorted into the front office and be signed in by a parent or guardian. Please do not send your camper unaccompanied.
Late campers will not be able to purchase a cash hot lunch on the days they arrive late.
Visitors are not permitted on campus during camp hours. Your child will be escorted to ensure they arrive safely to their camp group.
Early Camper Pick Up:
We strongly discourage early pick-up of campers.
If you need to pick up a camper early, phone or e-mail the office ahead of your pickup. If you do not phone ahead, please note it will take time to have your camper at the front office ready to go.
We will not release campers between 2:30 and 3:15 pm, there are no exceptions to this rule. The front office doors will not be opened to visitors during this time. Please phone ahead on 702-818-2149 ONLY if there is an emergency, so we can arrange for your child to be taken to reception.
If you pick up a camper early, that is before 2:30pm, please check in the main school office with a form of photo ID.
Anyone picking up your camper must be on the authorized pick-up list and Photo ID must be presented before the front desk can radio the camp office to arrange for your child to be sent at the front office.
Please be aware that it may take up to 15 minutes for us to get your camper from their activity, get their camp gear and escort them to the front office. Allow plenty of time.
Your camper must be signed out before they can leave.
We will not dismiss campers early from the closing circle.
Afternoon Pick Up:
Main Entrance carline is the only option for camper pick up this summer.
No walk-in pick-up of campers
Anyone authorized to pick up your campers, must have a set of Carline tags.
Carline tags will be available for pick up at the following times: June 3 - 7 between 10 am and 4 pm in the central school office.
Carline tags will also be available for pickup on the first day of each weekly session in the central school office.
You will receive two tags for your car for each camper. Please have them in your car daily.
Be sure to place the first carline tag on the passenger side dashboard.
Staff will collect the second carline tag to call your camper.
Staff members will direct traffic, please follow their directions.
We ask that you always remain in your vehicles.
Campers will be escorted to and placed in your vehicle by a camp staff member.
Staff will return the second carline tag with your camper(s).
Carline begins at 3:15 pm and will end at approximately 3:45 pm (or when there are no more cars).
Once we finish the carline, you will have to park and walk in to pick up your camper from extended care.
Extended Care: 3:45 pm – 6:00 pm.
Campers not picked up by 3:45 pm will be escorted to The Gallery for extended care. There will be an additional cost for extended care.
Skyhawks will be running afternoon extended care, please view the details on our website.
You must park and walk to the Gallery to pick up your camper from Extended Care.
Please have your ID ready to pick up and sign out your camper(s)
Extended care ends at 6:00 p.m. Campers will be charged $1 a minute after 6:00 p.m.
If you must reach Extended Care, please call 702-818-2149.
Camper and Campus Safety:
During drop off and pick up time, the parking lot will be busy. Please drive slowly and watch for children at all times.
If you must drop something off for your camper, it will be left on a table in the administrative lobby for camp staff to retrieve. You will not be permitted on campus to deliver.
If parking on campus when camp is in session, please use a parking bay and do not park on red lines. Red lines are for emergency use, and obstructions in red line areas may result in a fine.
There are 5 min parking bays at the front of the parking lot for quick drop-offs.
Drivers who pose a threat to safety, drive dangerously or do not follow the parking rules, will not be permitted to enter the parking lot for future pick-ups, drop-offs or campus visits.
Please be aware that at certain times of the day, vendor deliveries will be made. Again, this is another reason to use the parking bays and not park on the red lines.
If a staff member or security guard requests you to move your vehicle, please do so respectfully.
For drop off and pick up, staff and cones will be situated to assist you, please follow the directions.
When driving on campus, please note that handheld devices are not permitted while driving, for the safety of our staff and children.
