CIT Program

Counselors-In-Training (CITs) are an important part of our camp program. This highly-competitive program is open to rising 9th and 10th graders and is application-based. Participants in this program will:

This summer the CIT Program is offered in 3 sessions.  You can sign up for as few or as many as you would like:   Cost:  $200 per session.   

Session  1:    June 9- 20 (2 weeks)

Session 2:  June 23 -  July 11 (3 weeks, no camp July 2 and 3)

Session 3:  July 14- 25 (2 weeks)

• Gain valuable experience interacting with school-age children

• Participate in weekly group meetings with the CIT Director to discuss topics such as leadership and responsibility

• Take fun day trips to socialize with other CITs off campus 

Due to the immediate uncertainty of our ability to schedule off campus CIT events, they are not guaranteed. If we are able to schedule field trips and extra programs at a future date, additional fees may be added at the time of the event. 

• Develop new skills such as creative thinking, effective communication, and conflict resolution

• Gain teamwork experience

• Receive CIT camp t-shirts

• Make new friends and lifelong memories

• Receive community service hours for school

• Be mentored by Lauren Vogel Freedman, M.Ed Behavior Specialist and Certified Life Coach

• Free pizza lunch every Friday!
